For a larger guest list

More guests.
A clearer plan.

A full dance floor starts with a thoughtful plan for every guest.

Weddings with 100 or more guests require additional staffing. At 100 guests, we provide an additional server. For larger celebrations, Gyl will confirm the bartender and server arrangements for your guest count, drink choices, and service timeline.

For a four-hour celebration, an additional $20 per person over 100 applies. We’ll confirm the applicable per-person charge and your full total as part of your wedding quote before booking.

Share the full guest count, your chosen drinks, and the period when you expect the most bar traffic. If cocktail hour and the reception span more than four hours, additional time is $100 per hour, up to a maximum of six hours.

Wedding bartending FAQ

A few things
couples ask.

From your first inquiry to your final toast, here are a few helpful details for planning your Houston wedding bar.

How much does a wedding bartender cost in Houston?

Diamond Reserve’s standard four-hour packages are Basic at $600 for beer and wine, Gold at $900 with two specialty drinks, and Diamond at $1,200 with four specialty drinks. A 20% gratuity is added; tips are appreciated. Alcohol is purchased separately by the party. Additional guest, time, and optional glassware charges may apply. Request a quote for your wedding’s confirmed total.

How many bartenders do I need for a 100-person wedding?

Your drink choices and service timeline help determine the right team. At 100 guests, we provide an additional server, and weddings over 100 guests require additional server support. Gyl will confirm the bartender and server staffing for your celebration when preparing your quote.

How far in advance should I book my wedding bartender?

Start your inquiry once you know your wedding date, venue, and approximate guest count. Contact Gyl early to check availability for your date. An inquiry or package selection does not reserve it; availability and successful payment must be verified before confirmation is issued.

Can a mobile bartender serve at my Houston wedding venue?

It depends on your venue’s rules and the event setup. Before booking, ask whether outside bartenders and host-purchased alcohol are permitted, and request the venue’s vendor, access, and documentation requirements. Share these with Diamond Reserve so the suitability of your indoor or outdoor location can be confirmed. Ask Gyl about any documentation your venue requires.

What does Diamond Reserve provide for a wedding?

Every package includes beer and wine service, a TABC-certified bartender, standard glassware, napkins, and mixers. Gold adds your choice of two specialty drinks; Diamond adds four. Optional themed glassware is charged at its cost. Ask Gyl to confirm responsibilities for ice, garnishes, equipment, setup, cleanup, and any other venue needs in your quote.

Do I need to provide the alcohol?

Yes. Diamond Reserve is a dry-bar service: the party is responsible for purchasing all alcohol, and alcohol is not included in any package. Start planning quantities with our wedding alcohol calculator. Confirm your venue’s alcohol policy and discuss your selected menu with Gyl before purchasing.

How long should wedding bartending service last?

Choose a service window that fits your cocktail hour and reception timeline. Diamond Reserve’s standard packages cover four hours. Each additional hour is $100, up to a maximum event duration of six hours. Confirm the start and end times when requesting your wedding quote.

Can we choose signature cocktails and mocktails?

Gold includes two specialty drinks and Diamond includes four, chosen from our specialty menu. Options include Espresso Martini with Gold Flakes and Blackberry Bourbon Smash. Our mocktail options include Blood Orange Spritzer and Blueberry Basil Lemonade. Gyl can help you plan non-alcoholic service and discuss any other drink requests.

Do you offer separate wedding packages?

Our Basic, Gold, and Diamond packages are available for weddings and other celebrations. Your wedding quote brings together your chosen package, guest count, service hours, and any applicable additional charges.

Do you serve wedding venues outside Houston?

We serve Houston, Texas. If you are considering a venue near Houston, send its exact location with your inquiry so coverage and any travel arrangements can be confirmed before booking.
